DENMARK: Danisco markets new refrigerant manufactured with residual sugar cane product
Food ingredients company Danisco has started to market a new refrigerant developed by the firm’s Finnish partner Fortum . Harmless to humans, the new refrigerant is manufactured using betain, a residual sugar cane product produced at Danisco Cultor's factory in Finland.
Food ingredients company Danisco has started to market a new refrigerant developed by the firm’s Finnish partner Fortum. Harmless to humans, the new refrigerant is manufactured using betain, a residual sugar cane product produced at Danisco Cultor’s factory in Finland.
So far, there have been no significant sales but Danisco is hoping that interest from refrigerating plants will grow in the environmentally friendly product.
