Scotland Food & Drink, the trade body for Scottish food and drink manufacturers, has hired a Coca-Cola Co. executive to lead the organisation.
Paul McLaughlin joins the association as chief executive after 12 years at Coke. McLaughlin was most recently commercialisation, process and resource director for Coke’s North West Europe division.
Scotland Food & Drink chairman Allan Burns said: “Paul brings an enormous amount of commercial experience to the role particularly in the areas of innovations, marketing and supply chain, all of which are key foundations for driving forward our strategy for the Scottish food and drink industry.”
McLaughlin will take up his new role in January.
