Alliant Foodservice, Inc., a subsidiary of Alliant Exchange, Inc. and one of the nation’s largest broadline foodservice distributors, signed a definitive agreement to acquire Seattle-based K & N Meats.

Since 1942, family-owned K & N Meats has specialized in providing center-of-the-plate beef and other meat items to fine dining establishments both locally and nationally. The company generates approximately $100 million in sales annually.

Wayne Keener, CEO of K & N, said, “It was an easy decision for K & N to join forces with Alliant because the goals of the two companies are so aligned. Alliant Foodservice also provides access to AlliantLink.com, an internet-based service that provides 24/7 access to a catalog of more than 165,000 foodservice items, equipment, related supplies, and value-added services. Alliant Foodservice is the exclusive distributor of such brand lines as Glenview Farms dairy products, Bluewater Seafood, and Luzzatti Italian product lines.
