US meat processing giant Tyson Foods has issued details of its latest quarterly dividend.

Tyson will pay US$0.04 per share on its Class A common stock and $0.36 a share on its Class B shares. The dividend will be payable on 15 September to shareholders of record at the close of business on 1 September.


Last month, Tyson raised its outlook for the full year after posting better-than-expected quarterly profits.


Tyson posted earnings of US$68m for the second quarter ended 31 March, compared with a year-earlier loss of $127m, thanks to the positive impact of last year’s cost-cutting programme.
