Beleaguered Japanese dairy giant Snow Brand Milk Products Co has had to initiate yet another product recall after it was discovered that 5,304 cartons of its one-litre coffee milk beverage were tainted with chlorinated water at the company’s factory in the Aomori Prefecture.

The recall, which began on Friday, was only for products sold in the prefecture, said the company. The drinks had been produced on the Wednesday.
