Fiévet replaces Gérard Boivin who stepped down at the company’s AGM this month following his resignation announcement in January.


Fiévet, who previously served as CEO of holding company Unibel, will combine the position of chairman with that of CEO until Bel fills the top executive role on a permanent basis.


The company said that two candidates are “in the running” and the new CEO is expected to take office in September.


Bruno Schoch has also been confirmed as deputy director general in charge of financial and legal affairs.
