When the deal is completed, Nutraceutix, which also manufactures technologies for the nutraceutical industry, will discontinue all sales, marketing, and distribution activities related to D-Glucarate. BioChemix will meanwhile continue marketing D-glucarate through its JV partner, Glucona BV.


Nutraceutix, which earned US$480,570 from the sale, posted sales worth US$774,000 of bulk D-glucarate raw material during its fiscal 2000.
