British supermarket giant Tesco has teamed up with frozen food manufacturer Findus UK to run a five-figure online advertising campaign to promote Wok, a new freezer range.

Wok is being launched exclusively in Tesco this month, and Findus is hoping that the high-profile campaign, designed by marketing and creative consultancy Windmill and web company agency x, will also boost awareness and sales of the company’s other brands.


Findus’ European marketing director, Suzanne Nagle, told Revolution magazine: “Using the net is one of today’s new exciting ways to talk to your consumers in a direct way. Online promotions, such as we have done with Tesco, give an immediate opportunity for customers to find out about our products and of course to buy them.”
