Welsh rural affairs minister Carwyn Jones has confirmed that Wales will be abandoning its stand to remain an official GM-free zone. “The wolves are at the door,” he said: “We will end up with infraction proceedings; we will have to pay that fine. That is not something we can properly say to the people of Wales we are prepared to do.”
