Distribution director Laurie McIlwee has become Tesco’s finance director, replacing Andrew Higginson, who was recently made chief executive of retailing services at Tesco.
Higginson’s new tasks include overseeing the retailer’s Tesco Finance arm.
McIlwee, 46, joined Tesco in 2000 and became distribution director five years later.
Prior to joining Tesco, McIlwee spent nine years at PepsiCo.
