Luscious Low Fat Strawberry & Lime yoghurt will be available in Waitrose stores from this month and is made with “pasteurised organic milk and less than 2% fat”, the company said today (22 January).
“Rachel’s Organic felt it was a great zesty flavour to start the year with,” a spokesperson for Rachel’s Organic told just-food. “It is also low fat for all these New Year dieters out there. Strawberry and lime is not a combination you would ordinarily think about.”
The new yoghurt has an RRP of GBP1.56 (US$2.16) for a 450g pot.
Rachel’s Organic introduced a limited-edition Spiced Pear and Plum yoghurt in December, made with wholemilk yoghurt and less than 4% fat.
