Waitrose Beef and Onion Pie with the incorrect use-by date of 9 January 2009 should be returned to Waitrose supermarkets, the UK’s Food Standards Agency said today (5 November).


The product should have been labelled with a use-by of 9 November 2008 and it can safely be consumed up to this date.


No other Waitrose products are included in the recall.
