Germany discount retailer Lidl is to open a distribution centre near Tiel in the western Netherlands.
Lidl is to start construction of the distribution centre in the autumn of 2003. The new centre will create between 350 and 400 jobs, reported the Dutch News Digest.
Lidl has more than 4,000 supermarkets in Europe, of which 120 are located in the Netherlands.
