In the latest in a series of food scares involving pesticides in packaged goods, Nissin Food Products has issued a product recall after a customer fell sick from eating Nissin-branded Cup Noodle.
The Japanese firm has now voluntarily recalled about 500,000 noodle cups produced yesterday (23 October).
Tests detected the presence of the pesticide paradichlorobenzene.
