US-based J&J Snack Foods posted record sales and earnings for its 2010 fiscal year.
The manufacturer of Superpretzel and Shape Ups reported yesterday (3 November), that for the year ended 26 September, net earnings increased 17% to US$48.4m. Sales for the year grew 7% to $696.7m.

J&J president and CEO Gerald Shreiber said: “We had another successful year. Each of our major businesses contributed to our record sales and earnings.”
For the fourth quarter, sales grew 10% to $200.5m, while net earnings 11% to $16.5m.
