US supermarket group Kroger has issued a recall for eight-ounce packets of Kroger Hulless Corn Puff Poppers – Extreme Butter.

The products included in the recall have a sell-by date of 8 November 2008.

Kroger said it has issued the recall because the products may contain milk not listed on the label.

Consumers with milk allergies are at risk if they consume the product. No illnesses have so far been reported.

Customers should return the product to stores for a refund or replacement, Kroger said.
