TreeHouse Foods has made a number of key management appointments as part of its continuing effort to integrate the recently-acquired Bay Valley Foods business.
The US firm has appointed Harry Walsh, former TreeHouse SVP of operations, to the position of Bay Valley president.
Meanwhile, Joe Coning, former Bay Valley president, will assume the post of SVP of supply chain at TreeHouse.
“The organisational changes enable us to effectively complete the integration of recent acquisitions, maintain operating focus and continue the strategic evolution of our operations into a more powerful private label, foodservice and industrial business platform,” said TreeHouse chairman and CEO Sam Reed.
In conjunction with these changes, management’s focus at Bay Valley Foods will narrow to concentrate on go-to-market, operations, procurement and margin improvement, the company said.
