The Japanese retailer will remain listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Daiei said in a statement released today (26 June) that it had decided to delist from the four exchanges due to the low volume of trade it was seeing on them. Consequently, the company said delisting would have a minimal impact on investors.
The company will file for delisting on 1 July. Stock is expected to delist one month after it is moved to the liquidation post.
