US private-label food group Ralcorp Holdings has appointed Ronald Wilkinson to the newly-created position of president for its Ralcorp cereal products business.
Wilkinson will head Ralcorp’s branded and own-label cereal divisions, which include the Post Foods, Ralston Foods and Bloomfield Bakers units.

Wilkinson, currently president of Ralston Foods, will retain his status as corporate vice president of the group and continue to report to the company’s co-CEO and president David Skarie.
Wilkinson joined Ralcorp in 1995 as executive vice president of manufacturing and has over 34 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
Ralcorp, meanwhile, has appointed Bart Adlam as president of Post Foods.
Adlam has over 15 years experience in consumer packaged goods with experience as a marketing consultant for companies including Unilever, GSK, and Novartis.

Last week, citing its higher promotional activity in US cereals, Ralcorp said its third-quarter group sales fell 3% to US$962.4m.
