Anglo-Dutch food and consumer goods company Unilever has said it has agreed to sell its German cheese unit to French dairy group Bongrain.

As well as four German cheese brands, the deal includes the company’s production factory in Kempten. The cheese brands are also sold in the Netherlands and Austria, reported AFX News.
Financial details of the deal, which is part of Unilever’s plan to focus on its core brands, were not disclosed.
