Eat Natural has announced its withdrawal of some of its fruit bars due to them containing a milk protein not mentioned on the product label.
The Eat Natural nuts and fruit bar with cranberries, macadamias and dark chocolate were taken off shelves as they posed a possible health risk for anyone who is allergic to, or intolerant of, milk or milk constituents.
The Food Standards Agency issued a notice advising anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents not to eat this product.
The product being withdrawn has ‘best before end’ dates of 4S, 10B, 11B, 12B September, 65D October and 035 November.
Eat Natural has withdrawn the affected stock from sale and all future products will be relabelled to show advice on the risk of possible cross contamination with milk.
