Nestle has invested EUR10.3m (US$12.7m) in the expansion of its factory in the Spanish town of Araia.
The firm announced today (19 May) that it has added six lines to the ice cream facility, with the creation of 200 jobs.

The additional lines will increase production capabilities by 50%, allowing the factory to manufacture 242 different types of ice cream products.
Nestlé owns 13 factories and employs 5,675 people in Spain. In 2009, Nestlé’s sales in Spain amounted to CHF2.7bn (US$2.33bn).
