Dutch biscuits and crackers group De Kroes has acquired French puff pastry specialist, Semur Feuilletage, based in Semur-en-Auxois, for an undisclosed sum.
Dutch biscuits and crackers group De Kroes has acquired French puff pastry specialist, Semur Feuilletage, based in Semur-en-Auxois, for an undisclosed sum.
The takeover will see the setting up of new company, De Kroes Feuilletage, with EUR1m (US$1.4) being invested in new production equipment and recruiting staff.
Located near Breda, in the Netherlands, De Kroes employs 100 staff and generates an annual turnover of EUR22m, of which 60% is accounted for by its activities in France.
