Nestle has bought OOO Technocom, Ukraine’s biggest producer of convenience foods and condiments, and owner of the Mivina brand.

The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed but, according to Nestle, the acquisition of will strengthen the company’s presence in one of the fastest-growing segments of the Ukrainian food market.

Technocom will allow Nestle to expand its convenience portfolio at the value end of the market,

Nestle also intends to actively promote products under the Mivina brand in Eastern and Central Europe.

In addition to the Ukrainian market, Technocom’s products are exported to more than 20 other European countries.
