The GBP350,000 (US$565,000) investment will up the creamery’s butter production capacity by 2,000 tonnes and will increase the range of butters that Milk Link is able to offer its foodservice and retail customers.
Operations director Mark Robertson said: “This new investment will help develop further our butter making capabilities both in terms of the range and quality of the products we can offer.”
