Nestle has confirmed that production at two of its factories in Thailand has stopped, as a result of floods that hit the country late last month.
The company said today (9 November) that it has been forced to stop operations at two of its facilities, in Ayutthaya and Navanakorn. The factory in Ayutthaya produces bottled water whilst the Navanakorn produces milk and coffee.

A spokesperson for the company told just-food that its workers are safe.
“We work closely with the local authorities and we are in close contact with our around 1,000 employees who are directly impacted by the floods,” she added.
Nestle has six factories in Thailand and employs around 2,500 people.
