Extra virgin olive oil sales rose by 7.9% to 38.6m litres, while olive residue oil sales rose by 40.2% to 3.7m litres, Spanish association of olive oil packers and refiners reported Anierac (Asociacion Nacional de Industriales Envasadores y Refinadores de Aceites Comestibles).

Seed oil sales inched up 2% in volume terms to reach 165.3m litres in the period under review. Soybean reported a 32.4% decline in sales to 1.9m litres, reported Consumer.
