French industrial baker Neuhauser International has finalised the acquisition of counterpart BCS for an undisclosed sum.
Neuhauser president and CEO Laurent Bour told just-food that the takeover has received regulatory approval and will create France’s premier bakery group.

BCS has an annual turnover of EUR110m (US$156.9m), employs 630 staff and operates eight production sites. Its current president, Jean-Luc Couturier, will continue at the helm.
Neuhauser has been investing in growth of late and earlier this year completed a EUR20m investment programme to increase production at its plant in Sainte Hermine.
