Ahold USA has divided its marketing and merchandising roles into two, appointing Erik Keptner to the newly-created post of EVP, marketing.
The move is designed to provide “better support” to Ahold USA’s local retail divisions, focusing on local needs and differentiation.
In his new role, Keptner will support local divisions as they develop and implement long-term marketing goals.
The company is continuing to recruit for an EVP of merchandising.
