Simon Burke has stepped down from his role as Superquinn’s non-executive chairman, the Irish supermarket group confirmed today (23 February).
Burke had served as executive chairman but stepped back from the position to take the role of non-executive chairman following the appointment of the company’s new CEO, Andrew Street, in November.

A spokesperson for Superquinn confirmed that Burke will be replaced by Kieran Ryan, who holds a significant shareholding in the company.
