China Nutrifruit recorded a an increase in net income during the third quarter as the company benefited from increasing numbers of health-conscious consumers and its broad product range.
The company announced today (14 February) that net income was up 34.9% during the quarter ended 31 December to reach US$6.2m. Net sales were up 24.2% to US$22.1m.

“During the third fiscal quarter, sales of our fruit-based products continued to exhibit strong double-digit year-over-year growth driven by increasing numbers of health-conscious consumers, the high quality of our products and diverse product offering.
Gross profit for the third quarter was up 26.4% to $10.3m, while gross margin was 46.4%, up on the 45.7% recorded in the same quarter of the previous year.
Shares in the company were up 4.55% to $3.45 a share at 9:30 EST.
