Ade McKeon, Asda’s category director for beers wines and spirits, has joined Netto UK as integration trading manager.
Asda, which is in the process of acquiring the discount retailer’s UK operations, announced today (1 February) that McKeon will work alongside current trading director Bent Holm and will “play a key role supporting the Netto trading teams and our integration through this transition”.

McKeon will be fully independent from Asda until the Netto deal is fully completed and will become Netto’s trading director after the deal completes.
“This is a great move for Ade and his extensive trading experience as well as the significant contribution he has made to Asda in the last 12 months will be a real asset to driving the Netto trading proposition forward,” Asda said in a statement.
