US retailer Safeway Inc has appointed Brian Baer president of its Chicago-area Dominick’s Finer Foods banner.
Baer had worked at Safeway since 2001 and has been acting president of Dominick’s since late 2011, the company said. He previously served as chief financial officer of the banner.
