US baby food producer Sprout Foods has expanded its product range with the launch of a pouch line of snacks aimed at school-aged children.
Sprout Smash Organic Kids Snack Pouches is the firm’s first line of food for school-aged kids. Organic pureed snacks, the products are packed in resealable squeeze pouches and contain vegetables, fruits and grains.

The line comprises nine variants, including: Butternut Squash & Grape; Strawberry & Cherry; and Banana & Berry.
“Most of the grab-as-you-go snack foods available today simply aren’t healthy,” said Geoff Stella, VP of marketing, Sprout Foods. “We’ve created the Sprout Smash snacks with that in mind, to give kids wholesome foods that are full of nutrition and flavour and can be enjoyed whenever, wherever.”
