Kellogg is to add a raft of products to its cereal, snacks and frozen portfolios in the US this year.
In cereal, where Kellogg has seen volumes fall in recent months, the company is launching UK cereal brand Krave across the Atlantic. It also introducing products including a Frosted Mini-Wheats Little Bites Cinnamon Roll line, Raisin Bran Cinnamon Almond and a caramel addition to its Crunchy Nut stable.
Kellogg’s snack unit will launch Special K Cheddar and Southwest Ranch cracker chips and granola bars, Cheez-it Mozzarella crackers and three additional variants to the Keebler range. The company’s Pop-Tarts will also see two additions: Pop-Tarts Wild! Fruit Fusion toaster pastries, and Mini Crisps Brown Sugar Cinnamon bites.

“These products reflect our commitment to invest in the future and our clear insight into the needs of consumers,” said Brad Davidson, president of Kellogg’s North American operations. “New products drive strong growth, and Kellogg anticipates 15% of its global sales in 2012 will come from products launched within the previous three years.”
