French retail giant Carrefour has confirmed that global brand director Laurent Blum has left the company.
A spokesperson for Europe’s biggest retailer, which reported lower fourth-quarter and full-year sales this week, confirmed that Blum left at the end of last year.

However, Carrefour could not provide information on whether Blum was fired as a result of its recent results or whether he left for another role. Blum held the role since 2009 and was previously the VP for innovation at Nestlé Waters.
