Nestle’s Australian breakfast cereal business, Uncle Toby’s, has launched a new muesli bar in the market.

A spokesperson for Nestle told just-food that Uncle Toby’s Puffs have been launched in Australia in three different flavours: chocolate, berry and caramel.

“It’s a terrific new product, and unique to Australia as it’s the only bar that’s made predominately from puffed wheat as well as muesli. And because of this, it’s a lighter eat than more traditional muesli bars,” the spokesperson said. “It’s another great offering from the Uncle Tobys range and a tasty alternative because of its texture, taste and ingredients.”

Each 23g bar contains more than 35% whole grain and is free from artificial colours and flavours.

Uncle Toby’s Puffs are now available in boxes of six at supermarkets around the country, the spokesperson confirmed.
