Seafood giant Thai Union Frozen Products has booked a drop in earnings for fiscal 2012.
Net profit fell to THB5.47bn (US$183.4m) from THB6.07bn a year earlier, it reported on Friday (1 March). The drop was due to a fall in tuna prices and higher costs in its shrimp business. Pre-tax profit amounted to THB7.85bn, a 7.1% decline on last year.
