US group Hillshire Brands has expanded its Jimmy Dean product range to include a number of savoury breakfast lines.

The company has added to its Delights by Jimmy Dean range of frozen breakfast options to include a Flatbread Sandwich product containing under 300 calories. It is available in three variants: Turkey Sausage, Egg & Cheese; Bacon, Egg & Cheese Flatbread; and Egg White with Spinach & Mozzarella-Style Cheese.

Hillshire has also created a better-for-you breakfast option with the launch of Fully Cooked Maple Turkey Sausage Patty, the first flavour variety to its fully-cooked line of turkey sausage products.

Additional breakfast items in the launch include: Jimmy Dean Biscuit & Sausage Gravy Bowl, Jimmy Dean Snack Size Chicken Biscuit Sandwich, and Jimmy Dean Meat Lovers Sandwich.
