
Brazilian food group BRF has named Pedro Faria, the head of its international business, as its new chief executive.
Faria has been on BRF’s board for three years and was last year appointed to the position of CEO of its international operations. He will succeed Claudio Galeazzi on 2 January.

Prior to joining BRF, Faria was CEO of Brazilian investment firm Tarpon from 2003.
