ConAgra Foods is expanding its offering under the Marie Callender's brand with the launch of three pot pie variants.
The new "just-like-home" products aim to appeal to consumers during the "comfort food season", the US group said.
"Since 1948, Marie Callender's signature pot pies have provided families with wholesome, hearty ingredients and meals that remind people of home and the comfort it can bring," said Christiane Brocky, vice president & general manager, ConAgra Foods. "We are continuously listening to consumers to develop new meals and varieties that encourage families to slow down and savour the moment together."
Marie Callender's frozen pot pies are available in a family-sized chicken pot pie; a broccoli, cheddar & potato pot pie; and a homestyle chilli pot pie. They will go on sale at grocery stores throughout the US for a suggested retail price of $3.29 for single serve and $9.99 for family size.
