The Russian unit of French dairy giant Danone said that the dairy product output of its main plant in 2002 increased 62.4% year-on-year.
The Chekhov plant in the Moscow region produced 44,061 tonnes of product in 2002.
Danone has another plant in Russia which is situated in the town of Tolyatti. The Chekhov plant, however, accounts for around 70% of Danone’s sales in Russia.
