Private-equity investor Alliance Consumer Growth (ACG) has taken a stake in US firm Live Better Brands, maker of the Way Better Snacks brand.

Terms of the investment were not disclosed. Live Better Brands said the investment will support its drive to expand distribution throughout the US, as well as stepping up new product development and marketing.

The Way Better Snacks product line-up includes tortilla chips and crackers.
