
Mehmet Tutuncu, CEO of Turkish biscuit firmUlkerBiskuvi Sanayi, has reportedly said parent company Yildiz Holdingis eyeing further acquisitions, following the sale of its milk business to France's Lactalis.
Tutuncu is reported as saying to press in the wake of the AK Gida deal more options to acquire and sell "are on the table".
The CEO said the transaction allowed Yildiz to focus on its core business of cookies, chocolates and gum. He added it would "take advantage of any opportunity we find suitable."
Yildiz Holding acquired United Biscuits in a US$3m deal last year.
The company could not be reached for comment at time of press.
