According to a Bloomberg report citing unnamed sources, the US dried fruit and nut firm has attracted offers in the US$1bn range.

Acquisitive TreeHouse has made a number of acquisitions in the North American private label space, including most recently Protenergy Natural Foods. However, in its most recent quarterly update the group revealed that higher sales were offset by increased financing costs.
