The initial product line up will include three fish-and-sauce products, two of the brand’s Foil Bake Bag products and two from a new range of Ready to Enjoy Salmon, designed specifically for the US market.
Simon Smith, sales and marketing director at The Saucy Fish Co., said the listing was “a great triumph” for The Saucy Fish Co.
“The US is the world’s third-largest consumer of seafood, and it’s been reported that consumption of fresh and frozen fish fillets has climbed 12% in 2013 and is at its highest level since 1984, so it’s a great time to launch Saucy Stateside.
“Globally, we’re aiming to become a EUR200m (US$28m) brand by 2015. We are confident that The Saucy Fish Co. will secure further US listings this year, and we expect this to be the first in a line of international announcements over the next 18 months.”
