Retalix, an Israeli manufacturer of software solutions for the food retail industry, has announced the signing of an agreement with US supermarket chain Publix to provide StoreLine POS as its next generation Point of Sale platform.

The companies said the agreement would provide Publix with a store platform to build upon in the future and would enhance the customers’ shopping experience.
Retalix, which has installations in over 44 countries, supplies integrated software applications to support food retailers’ operations.
Publix, which operates 747 stores in five states, is the largest employee-owned supermarket chain in the US.
