UK: David Reid to become non-executive chairman of Tesco
The UK’s largest supermarket chain Tesco has said its deputy chairman David Reid is to become non-executive chairman in March 2004 when John Gardiner retires from the position. Reid, 56, joined the board of Tesco in 1985 and became deputy chairman in 1996.
