Since it started producing nougat for export in July orders from Mexico have risen, the Alicante-based company explained, and the sweet will hit Lain American shelves by October. Next month, the firm will begin production for the domestic market.
According to a report in the Panorama Actual, El Artesano is planning to increase its nougat prices by between 5% to 8% year-on-year due to the increase in the prices of ingredients such as almonds and honey.
