The burger behemoth revealed that in the long term, it hoped to grow the business by opening branches in other parts of the country. In the meantime, the chain will be 20-outlets strong by the end of 2002, after the inaugeration of three new restaurants.
Not including the chain’s two most recent openings, sales at McDonald’s Peruvian chain outlets increased by 50% between 2000 and 2001.
